Flower, III serves as the President of the Industrial Development Board of the City of New Orleans, a public corporation that promotes economic development in the City. Mr. Flower takes pride in the fact that, since Hurricane Katrina ravaged the area, the Board has been able to issue approximately $650 million in low-interest bonds to city developers.

Before founding his firm in 1978, Walter C. Flower, III worked in the Boston headquarters of the national investment counseling firm of Loomis, Sayles & Company. After two years, Mr. Flower helped to expand the company’s reach by opening a New Orleans branch office, where he served as the Vice President and Managing Partner. Walter C. Flower, III holds a BA in Economics from Tulane University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. After graduating from Harvard, Mr. Flower served as an Economics Adviser to the U.S. Agency for International Development. Mr. Flower is a member of the Boards of the historic Beauregard-Keyes House, and the Board of Governors of the Tulane Health Sciences Center (former Chairman) and he also serves on the President’s Council of Tulane University and as Finance Chair of the Tulane Hospital Board. Mr. Flower is listed in Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who in Finance and Industry.
